We interrupt this program...

I just wanted to say (since you're a captive audience and all) that I have a flipping woodpecker pecking away at the roof of my office and it's driving me NUTS.

On the positive side (eternal optimist you know...), woodpeckers eat bugs so if he's eating bugs then I'm highly supportive of his agenda.  But how long can I take the tap tap tap tap tap tap tapping?

I wonder if I brought him home with me if he'd find all the critters hiding in my kitchen?  Maybe a lizard would be better? hahahahaha

Woodpeckers are amazing creatures! But not so much fun when you have no choice but to be near them. You've got my sympathy!

At the office where I used to work, we had an electrical transformer on a pole right outside my window. One day, a squirrel completed the circuit and uh, ended his little life. In the process, he shorted the transformer and we sat in my window on the edge of my desk and watched the power guy replace the transformer over our lunch breaks...all while he was lighting cigarettes and chain smoking. Nature at work could be worse. :)

Ah gee! All I've got is the midnight bachelor pad renovations. Is there any way to shoo him away-- a trail of wood chips? Sorry, bad joke.
Have a quiet weekend.

You could let him into your house and see what happens...

Maybe a squirrel cracking nuts will join him and they'll form a band!

And just to add on to Alex's squirrel... perhaps a cricket or two on vocals?

Have a better weekend! ;)

I heard that hearing a woodpecker in the morning is good luck...or maybe that's rain? I don't know. Hope you have a great weekend!
